This font is pure imperial style with such an overkill of flourishes, relatively common for that time. Such lettering was used for store signage, book titles and in advertisements. Probably these exaggerated flourishes ultimately led to a radical rethinking, which then led to the constructed fonts in the Bauhaus style. Please donate if you like the font!
